On the way to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Next year the Olympic Games will take place in Tokyo. The German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) has chosen Kolle Rebbe to provide communication support for Team Germany on its way to Tokyo. “Our athletes of Team Germany are always at the center of our communication across all channels. Kolle Rebbe convinced us to make a significant contribution to this with their creative ideas,” says DOSB chairwoman Veronika Rücker. Another player in the cooperation with Kolle Rebbe is Deutsche Sport Marketing (DSM) as the marketing agency for the DOSB. Docking on the guiding idea for Tokyo, DSM is working with the Hamburg-based agency on a project that puts the focus on Team Germany’s partners.
The agency will accompany Team Germany until, during and after the Olympic Games. In the first phase, the focus will be on Team Germany’s hard journey to Tokyo. “We would like to take Germany on an emotional journey to Tokyo with our athletes. The spectators will be very close to Team Germany. They will participate live, feel and experience what it means to prepare for the Olympic Games and to give everything for it”, says Jan Vierig, Unit Lead Consulting at Kolle Rebbe.
Kolle Rebbe is responsible for the entire brand communication and also advises the DOSB with regard to its communication in the social media channels. The campaign will be launched in spring 2020.
In addition, the DOSB has commissioned Kolle Rebbe to tackle accompanying communicative implementations, which above all emphasise the diversity of sport and the social relevance of sport issues. The corresponding implementations will also be seen throughout Germany next year.
Kolle Rebbe has built up a strong sports expertise in recent years, including well-known clients such as Peloton, DAZN, bwin and the DFB women’s team. The team is led by Jan Vierig, Unit Lead Consulting, and Till Monshausen and Marco Obermann, both Unit Lead Creation.
