Launch of the product films for the fastest, open-top Audi.
From 0 to 100 kph in just 3.3 seconds, a V10 aspirated engine with 610 hp, 328 kph at its fastest. The performance data of the new Audi R8 Spyder V10 Plus would have made for an impressive film all on their own. The creative idea for the product film from Kolle Rebbe, however, is based on a completely different feature of the fastest, open-top Audi:
The wheels reveal their motorsport gene with a centred-positioned cockpit that catapults the driver into the centre of the power. To show this in a striking and clear way, the film uses a mirroring effect that makes all the images run to the centre of the scene. The result: continuously new, surreal worlds which underscore the centred build of the R8 Spyder.
The film was shot under the direction of Hans & Luko and the cameraman Maher Maleh with the Hamburg-based film production company 27Km. The music came from Ian O’Brien-Docker.
The film can be seen on the Audi website and in social media channels. At the end of June, it will be presented to journalists at the legendary Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Kolle Rebbe has been a set member of the Audi pool of agencies since 2013. Lennar Wittgen (Head of Accounts), Oliver Ramm (Head of Creation) and Jörg Dittman (CD Art) support the sales media for the RS and R models, amongst others. Since 2015, the Hamburg-based agency has been responsible for the international Audi quattro winter ski sport region as well, and most recently realised, together with DDB Barcelona, the national camapign for the Audi Black Edition.
