Auping, a Purveyor to the Dutch Court, is a new addition to the customer list.
After a screening process, Dutch mattress and bed manufacturer Koninklijke Auping bv from Deventer chose Kolle Rebbe as its new agency partner in Germany.
Auping is a Royal Purveyor in the Netherlands and has a global network of stores, specialist retailers and exhibition areas. In Germany, Auping sells its products in its own monobrand stores, including Stilwerk Hamburg and Berlin, and through specialist retailers. Jörg Cieslak, managing director of Auping Germany B.V. & Co. KG, said of the chosen agency: ‘We were won over by the smart, data-driven approach. Kolle Rebbe thinks big, yet enables learning in small steps. This is innovative and sustainable. And is perfectly suited to Auping’.
Exciting tasks await the Hamburg firm. The brand is a market leader in the Benelux countries yet still quite unknown in Germany. Recently, mattress start-ups in particular have spurred a lot of market activity. ‘Sleep is an important health trend worldwide. Everyone in the Netherlands knows that thanks to Auping. In order to stand strong in the face of the intense competition in Germany, we intend to exploit all relevant touchpoints with well-rested eyes’, comments Lennart Wittgen, head of consultation at Kolle Rebbe. The agency can draw on its many years of experience in the segment. Besides Auping, its customer list also includes Kaldewei, Hansgrohe, Alpina and further leading brands from the world of household goods.
Since 1888, Auping has been committed to giving people a perfect night’s sleep and has created a varied range: box-spring beds, frame beds, mattresses, bedding and accessories. Auping invests massively in sustainability and seeks to tailor all of its company processes, products and services to its cradle-to-cradle concept (C2C) by 2020. Auping is passionate about providing the ultimate comfort in bed as it firmly believes that good sleep contributes to a healthy and active lifestyle.
